By David BrunnstromWASHINGTON (Reuters) - The top U.S. official for arms control said on Wednesday she is "very confident" the United States will certify Australia and Britain as eligible for exemptions from export-control regulations under the AUKUS submarine project. The AUKUS project unveiled by the three countries in 2023 involves Australia acquiring nuclear-powered attack submarines as part of efforts by the allies to push back against China's growing power in the Indo-Pacific region. This is provided for in the 2024 U.S. National Defense Authorization Act passed in December, but requires Biden's final signoff by mid-April. "We have to keep showing that we're all-in and ... people are watching what's happening with the supplemental," she said. "We need to pass a supplemental because of all the things in here, including AUKUS, that shows the U.S. wants to continue to be a leader."

"Our people in Arkansas are Americans led by Americans who care deeply about serving Arkansas farmers," Das said. Elon Musk's SpaceX sued the U.S. Department of Justice in a Texas federal court, as the company aims to stop the DOJ's hiring discrimination case on constitutional grounds. Unlike SpaceX's suit, filed in the Southern District of Texas, the DOJ suit was filed within a division of the agency that adjudicates immigration cases, a key point of contention in the company's response. "SpaceX has not engaged in any practice or pattern of discriminating against anyone, including asylees or refugees. SpaceX's suit names a trio of defendants, including U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland. SpaceX's hiring tops the acceptance rates of even the most selective, elite U.S. colleges, as "only about 1% of applications result in a hire," according to the company.

Also, Russia's war in Ukraine has disrupted some military supplies to India, reinforcing New Delhi's long-term desire to diversify imports or replace them with home-built hardware, Indian defence officials said. Despre faptul că a fost pregătit un nou Statul al Agenției „Moldpres”, care prevede lichidarea Redacției Știri, a anunțat Fidel Galaico, șeful Departamentului știri, dar și alți angajați ai instituției. „Jurnaliștii Agenției califică această tentativă drept un atac asupra presei, precum și o răzbunare pentru anumite note critice pe care le-am admis la adresa unor instituții de stat. Astfel, instituția care de la înființarea Republicii Moldova a fost un reper pentru toate sursele din media, ar urma să devină istorie. Agenţia Moldpres a fost creată la 20 iunie 1990, în urma lichidării Agenţiei Moldoveneşti de Informaţii (ATEM), care activase din 1940.

La alegerile parlamentare din 30 noiembrie 2014, Vladimir Țurcanu s-a regăsit pe locul nouă în lista candidaților PSRM și a devenit deputat în fracțiunea PSRM.

Два года назад Генеральная Ассамблея ООН по предложению сформированного проевропейскими партиями молдавского правительства даже приняла резолюцию, которая призывает к выводу из Приднестровья ОГРВ. Того самого, из которого Россия вышла в 2015 году после того, как его не ратифицировало ни одно государство — член НАТО. Он заметил, что вопросы вывода из Приднестровья ОГРВ, вывоза и утилизации устаревших боеприпасов необходимо решать за столом переговоров, а не через “громогласные заявления, которых было сделано немало”. Молдавский лидер напомнил, что в ходе налаженного с Москвой диалога министр обороны России Сергей Шойгу предложил начать процесс утилизации боеприпасов в Приднестровье.

Șeful serviciului de spionaj al Rusiei, Serghei Narîșkin, a acuzat Statele Unite ale Americii de faptul că ar pregăti o revoluție „colorată” în Republica Moldova în cazul unei victorii a președintelui pro-rus Igor Dodon la alegerile prezidențiale din 1 noiembrie, transmite IPN cu referire la Radio Europa Liberă. Șeful spionajului rus mai afirmă că Departamentul de Stat a dat indicații ambasadei americane la Chișinău să se pregătească de proteste în masă în cazul realegerii lui Igor Dodon și să ceară repetarea scrutinului. În ultimele luni și săptămâni, ambasadorul american la Chișinău, Dereck Hogan, a cerut asigurarea unor alegeri libere și corecte pe 1 noiembrie. O recentă investigație realizată de RISE Moldova și «Досье» afirmă că Federația Rusă se amestecă în afacerile interne ale Republicii, cu contribuția președintelui Republicii Moldova Igor Dodon. Purtătoarea de cuvânt a candidatului la funcția de președinte Igor Dodon, a calificat informațiile drept „false”.
